To the editor:

From a line from one of my favorite James Bond movies, “Let the game begin.” This is in reference to the upcoming election for State Assembly in the 100 District. What we have are three candidates with no election experience, no clearcut agendas (based upon voters and residents) and no indication of their purpose.

The Democratic candidate has already “kissed the ring” of the mayor of Middletown, so one takes a cue from that which the other two are engaged in an upcoming primary. 

The unfortunate aspect of all of this is the voters and residents deserve much better than this and will not get it. What will happen is two more years of what has been occurring for years.
