SULLIVAN COUNTY — The Sullivan County Long Beards (SCLB), NYS Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation (NWTF), is proud to introduce our 2024 James Earl Kennamer Scholarship recipients. Applicants for our scholarship must be a member of the NWTF as well as submit an essay highlighting their scholastic achievements, leadership abilities, community involvement and their commitment to conservation. The winner of each local chapter scholarship is forwarded to the NYS Chapter for consideration of their award.

Isabella Francisco, the first place winner, is graduating from Roscoe High School and continuing her education at SUNY Sullivan in the Healthcare/Nursing Program.

Isabella also placed second in the NYS Chapter/NWTF scholarship award.

Aiden Johnston, the second place winner, is graduating from Roscoe High School and continuing his education at Scranton University in the Business/Finance Program.

The awards were presented at a monthly meeting of the Sullivan County Long Beards chapter. We wish them much success in their pursuit of higher education and support of conservation.
