GRAHAMSVILLE – The defending Class D Cross Country State Champion Tri-Valley Bears have set the stage for their repeat performance.
Behind Adam Furman’s consistent first place finishes, the rest of the Bears have all improved on their times from last year, repeated as OCIAA and Section IX Champions, and will be headed to Vernon-Verona-Sherill on Saturday to complete the repeat trifecta.
Joining them to compete in the State Championship races are 8th grader Anna Furman, who has kicked off her varsity career on a strong note, winning the Section IX race, Brynn Poley who finished 9th in the Section for Class D.
Nataly Zempoltecatl from Fallsburg finished 8th overall in the Class C girls race and will also be traveling up on Saturday to compete for the state crown.
