SULLIVAN COUNTY-On Thursday, October 10th, the Kaufman Family honored the memory of family patriarch, Norman Kaufman, in a ceremony at the Sullivan County Conservation Club.  Norman was a long-time member of the Club, and an ardent supporter of the youth programs run there.  The Kaufman Family used this opportunity as a memorial fundraiser to help support the Monticello High School Trap Team, who are hosted by the Conservation Club.  In attendance were Norman’s wife Phyllis, son Steven and his wife Lois, grandson Jared and his wife Julie, and great-grandsons Nolan and Ari.  The memorial was organized by Jared, who is carrying on his grandfather’s legacy as a member of the Conservation Club.  Jared collected contributions  totaling $3200 from numerous family members, and from the family business, PN Alarm Co., founded by Norman and Phyllis.  The members of the Monticello High School Trap Team were honored and grateful for the aid received, noting that their entire program has been built on the generous support of community members like the Kaufmans.
