SULLIVAN COUNTY–– The Sullivan County Long Beards Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation (NWTF) is pleased to announce the winners of this year’s Youth Buck Contest. The competition was very keen with 13 quality deer being entered this year. This was our 13th annual event. The expressions on the young hunters’ faces reflects, better than words, what it means to them. 

Winning the free shoulder mount provided by Shewolf Taxidermy was Luke Chevalier with a score of 247 1/4.  Dylan Schardefield placed 2nd with a score of 246. He will receive a gift certificate from the Fur Fin & Feather.  

Scores are determined by the Democrat scoring system plus dressed weight.
