SULLIVAN COUNTY — A long and arduous Fall season has finally drawn to a close, with the FootLocker Regional race being the final event of the season for Sullivan County runners.

The Cross Country season was full of new personal bests, broken records and even an individual state championship.

As has been the case for the past few years, Tri-Valley set the pace in the county, with Van Furman taking home the Class D boys Championship and then winning the Federation Race. His sister Anna, in her freshman year, finished as the Class D runner up at states for the second consecutive year.

That said, there were plenty of deserving harriers from throughout Sullivan County to be named to this year’s Sullivan County Democrat All-Star Team.
