A lot  is going on down Main Street in Jeffersonville! A newly paved State Route 52 going right thru town is going to make everyone happier! No more holes to fall in, trip over or hit with your vehicle.

Also, some amazing news! We have two new businesses opening very soon!  “Double D Sourdough” (going in where Jim the barber was – next to the “Catskill Outdoorsman”) will sell different sourdough breads and much more! Kitchenware including bannetons and their liners, dough whisks, flour, dehydrated starter, mixing bowls, dish towels, aprons, and more. Other items will be coming too ! The shop will hopefully be open by the end of the month.

Next, “Cuppie Cake Desserts’” is working hard at turning one of our storefronts (located at 4887 State Rte. 52) into a “cute little shop where you can grab a treat for yourself and visit with a friend.” The shop will be home to weekly flavor changes, cakes available to pick up on site, and many more tasty treats! They will still accept custom orders and private events. Two first  fun classes! “Halloween Classes” on October 27th at 2 p.m. a “Cake & Sip”  and  October 28th at 6 p.m. there will be a “Cookie  & Sip”! Bring your favorite drink and she will provide the goods & snacks.  Grab your spot at  https://forms.gle/TVcDkmyYqDjAUX949

The ”Hair Hive Salon” has moved to a larger space at 4920 State  Rte. 52 – across from the Tavern, behind the bicycle shop. They now offer massage & facials along with their current services and clothing choices! FMI and appointments call 845-701-5370.

The White Sulphur Springs Inn is having their Annual Halloween Party on Friday, October 25th from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. featuring BJ Hendrickson! Wear your spookiest Halloween costume and enjoy a fun filled evening with prizes, and food and drink specials!

Save the Date: Come to the Annual James Dworetsky Holiday Parade down Main Street Jeffersonville on Friday, November 29th at 7 p.m.! Lineup for those wanting to be in the parade is at 6 p.m. at the Sullivan West Elementary School campus. Bring your children  to the Jeff Bake Shop and meet Santa from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. and enjoy some hot chocolate & goodies. Presents from Santa too! FMI: Sue at 845-796-6966.

Thank you to Diehl Trucking that is hauling a load of hay to be sent to a farmer who lost over 1000 bales. They worked with Marshall Machinery who also filled 2 out of 3 trucks with Hurricane Helene relief donations.  Thank you to both businesses for helping to transport items from many people that donated items. The  Delaware Valley Farm & Garden Center, Inc. located at 30 Viaduct Rd. Callicoon is also a drop off point for requested items  Wednesdays-Friday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.  Please do not leave items outside – take them in to the store. Items needed are listed on their Facebook page.

Prayers for those that have lost so much from Hurricane Helene. Hopefully Hurricane Milton is not as fierce.
